Jennie Allen lives in Brooklyn, but she hails from upstate New York and flees there whenever she can. She co-wrote the film Failing Better Now, now available on the Starz network. Jennie‘s short films have screened at Palm Springs, Brussels Short Film Festival, CineKink, Woodstock, LA ShortsFest, and on NYC-TV, among other places. She has won awards from Palm Springs, Babelgum, and the Adrienne Shelly Foundation. She received her MFA from Columbia University, where she also taught Screenwriting and Undergrad Writing.
