Bronwyn Maloney is an artist and animator from New York. Her filmmaking is rooted in fine art and design for performance, highlighting sensual motion and graphic form. She works in hand drawn digital animation and replacement animation, exploring abstracted narratives in a 2-dimensional space. Her short film Serpentine screened in 12 countries, and won the Helen Hill Award for Animation at New Orleans Film Festival in 2018. Her upcoming work, Re:Shannon, is supported by GLAS Animation, Rooftop Films and the Adrienne Shelly Foundation. She is a recent MFA graduate from Experimental Animation at CalArts, and is based in Los Angeles, CA.
