 is an award winning writer, director, and editor. Her 15-minute narrative short, STITCHES, about a fashionista rescued during Hurricane Katrina who must share a room with a girl who’s a fashion disaster won the Adrienne Shelly Production Grant as well as got Johnson accepted as a fellow into the AFI Directing Workshop for Women.

Other projects include, TOUCH A LIFE, a short video on a mentoring program in which BET executives coach youths from the Brotherhood Crusade; THE MAKING OF… CHRISTMAS TREE LANE,A 15-minute documentary on an historic neighborhood parade for theLong Beach Public Access Digital Network; and MORNING SONG which won of the grand prize at Beijing International Screenwriting Competition and is about about an old man who, after experiencing a devastating loss, recovers his joy in a park in Beijing, China

Pamela’s most recent project, NEVER GO HUNGRY, is comprised of 10 30-second Public Service Announcements created as part of a campaign to bring awareness to food insecurity issues in Binghamton, NY, an upstate community. It was funded by a Ross Foundation grant
